SHELBURNE – Thousands of drivers zip along U.S. 7 south of the village of Shelburne every day. They can’t see what’s going on a few yards behind the original Fiddlehead Brewing site and Folino’s Pizza that front the busy highway.
Up the hill behind those businesses sits what’s been dubbed the Vermont Artisan Village, created by J. Graham Goldsmith Architects of Burlington. Many of the businesses inhabiting that space are food-related, including Bijou Fine Chocolates and Eating Well magazine. A newer section of the Artisan Village, a spur called Sage Court, started filling up last year, and includes an expanded Fiddlehead Brewing operation.
